Kayla's Facebook page said she was a junior, and though he'd never actually met her, you couldn't know every girl in a school with 1,200 kids. What he did next will likely send him to jail for a very long time Fuck, X thought. The night before, Kayla friended him with a message saying she always saw him in the hall and wanted to say hi, but she was too call New Berlin Eisenhower middle and high school "Ike," and they call the town of New Berlin "the Bubble," because, they say, as teenagers in suburbs everywhere say: "Nothing ever happens here." The group alleges that the 60-foot cross on a hillside above the stage in Neosho's Big Spring Park is unconstitutional, violating the separation of church and state.
An official statement regarding the allegation will be issued by the City of Neosho but Mayor Ben Baker said, "We've never had a complaint from any of our citizens about the cross. We don't agree with the statement from the Freedom From Religion Foundation and we will not be taking the cross down." In the letter sent from the FFRF, the City of Neosho is asked to either take down the cross or remove it to what is termed a more appropriate private location.
Baker maintains that the city will not be removing the cross.
