Joshua doesn’t seem like the kind of guy that would take his new bride to some place super fun and awesome like Vegas; he seems more like a guy that would rather go somewhere unbelievably dull where he can, like, be religious and watch 7Cathy wants to go out and find a place for just the two of them, and of course I agree, but Joshua seems to just be going along under the assumption that of course they’ll stay at Val’s; why wouldn’t they?

Scott, her adoration of musician Artie Shaw and her affair with Robert Mitchum... All that Ava Gardner could recall was that her latest boyfriend had suddenly punched her hard in the face, dislocating her jaw.
And instead of bursting into tears, she’d coolly smashed an onyx ashtray over his head — and probably killed him.
Gardner was born near the farming community of Smithfield, North Carolina. She had two older brothers, Raymond and Melvin, and four older sisters, Beatrice, Elsie Mae, Inez, and Myra.
And even in her mid-60s, after two devastating strokes, she still prided herself on her ability to captivate men.
Of course, she knew that half her face drooped and barely anyone recognised her as she limped round the streets of London.
‘His boys got me out of there so f****** fast, my feet didn’t touch the Orientals.
Ava Gardner’s life, as I discovered when she asked me to help write her autobiography, had been laced with drama, violence and sex.
